As Zimbabwe moves a gear up in its fight against misinformation and brand misrepresentation, Agos Consulting, a leader in brand and reputation management, in partnership with the Government of Zimbabwe, is set to launch Brand Zimbabwe in Harare on September 5, 2022.
The launch comes in the wake of a a spirited campaign by sponsored media, journalists, as well as the civil society, having gone on a sustained crusade to paint the country in bad light, all for political expediency.
Regrettably the media has ignored, or at least no one has cared, to look at and tell the beautiful side of the country. It is this media obsession with negativity that has prompted Brand Zimbabwe to come in to engage media practitioners in a holistic manner, to enable them to appreciate the virtue of telling the good Zimbabwean story.
Cognizant of the fact that it takes a collective effort to communicate the good message about the country, Brand Zimbabwe will launch its drive to engage all players in the media, tourism, civic society and business to take ownership and responsibility to market Zimbabwe so that the country can attract quality investments and tourists for the good of the economy.
All media houses are cordially invited for the event which takes place at the Celebration Centre in Harare at 1400hrs.
